Meet Kritika Dwivedi, PsyD

Kritika Dwivedi, PsyD provides psychotherapy for adolescents ages 15 and older and adults through in-person sessions in Denver and telehealth throughout Colorado.

I became a psychotherapist because I have always been deeply interested in understanding the human experience. During my undergraduate education, two mentors encouraged that curiosity, and my introduction to psychodynamic theory profoundly shaped the way I think about people, relationships, and emotional growth.

My approach combines the depth of psychodynamic psychotherapy with practical DBT-informed psychotherapy skills. I believe meaningful therapy involves both understanding why we struggle and developing new ways of responding to life’s challenges.

I strive to create a therapeutic relationship where clients feel comfortable being honest, asking difficult questions, and exploring experiences they may not have shared elsewhere. My style is warm, thoughtful, collaborative, and direct. When appropriate, I also believe humor has an important place in therapy.

Approach, Services & Fees

Therapy that brings insight and practical support together.

Kritika’s work is relational, thoughtful, and collaborative — helping clients explore what is happening beneath the surface while also building skills for the present.

How therapy may feel

Kritika approaches therapy with the belief that people are often doing the best they can with patterns that developed for understandable reasons. Therapy can create space to understand those patterns with curiosity rather than judgment.

Sessions may include reflection on relationships, emotions, family dynamics, identity, belonging, and the ways past experiences continue to shape present-day responses. The work is not about forcing quick answers. It is about slowing down enough to understand what is happening and what may need to shift.

Her style is warm, thoughtful, collaborative, and direct. She values honesty, emotional depth, and practical tools that help clients feel more grounded in daily life.

Explores patterns, emotional experiences, early relationships, and deeper self-understanding.
